Manuscripts

The only copy of this Life is in Pen 225 which dates to c.1594 × 1610 and was written by Thomas Wiliems (see RepWM). The text is incomplete. The orthography of the text is influenced by the humanist, William Salesbury, because some borrowed words from Latin have been Latinized (such as bobul ‘people’ and sanct ‘saint’); see further Williams 1946: 32–45.
